Knocklofty House was the highlight of my travels through Ireland. The view that surrounds the house is phenomenal and worth capturing in paint. The house is full of artistic details that are treasures waiting to be discovered. The courteous staff was eager to fill any of my needs. What a great experience and I highly recommend staying at the Knocklofty... more

This Hotel is a dream come true. The beauty surrounding it can keep you busy for days. The building itself is huge and every corner you turn it's like walking into a different fairy tale. The food is superb and elegantly prepared. Best of all the staff! Stephen Weir and Eddie O'Brien run a great hotel. The staff are delightful... more

The hotel is just beautiful. The grounds are stunning. The staff goes waaaaay above and beyond. The food is out of this world - especially the Full Irish and the rabbit stew! Yumm! Such a great location for exploring the south of Ireland. Even a bit of ghost lore for those of you interested! I can't wait to visit again.... more

The grounds were amazing, we took walks around, petted the... more

We stayed at the Knocklofty House Hotel in August of this year(2009) as the first guests to experience the new management structure, and we cannot praise sufficiently the kindness and general good heartedness of the staff who welcomed us and made us feel at home in this beautiful Clonmel country home. The rooms are huge and full of history -... more

We stayed here in June 2009 for a romantic break. Obviously everyone who has rated this poorly has not been recently !!!!. It really is an amazing hotel with the most gorgeous decor and food. The grounds are beautiful. We have three children and we will be coming back very soon as this is also a great place for families. more
