we all arrived at this hotel late and carried our cases up 4 flights of stairs. the male receptionist couldnt leave the desk to help us.he was very nice and helpful otherwise. our rooms were spotless nicely done only in dark covers colours bed and curtains. this with the dark winey coloured carpet tended to make the ample double room... more

We chose this hotel based on the great reviews we read. The reception area is dimly lit, and a throwback to past times with ledgers, papers, and not a computer in sight. There was nobody manning reception when we arrived, and no apology ofered when someone finally came to attend to us, The carpets on the stairs leading to the... more

Hotel was very nice, for the money. The room was very modern in decoration and very comfortable. The breakfast was lovely (eggs done just right) All the staff were very helpful and very friendly both on reception and the waitress at breakfast. Had read reviews on various hotels in Clonmel and am glad I chose this one. Also the guy... more

Booked this hotel after reading various reviews, I reckon these were writen by the owner !! Stayed for one night and that was enough. Walking in was like entering a black hole, black wall and poor lighting. Our room was OK, but the toilet look like an after thought. Very (and I mean very) basic and not that clean. There... more

I had the pleasure of staying at Hearn's Hotel, amazing location (town centre). The staff were 1st class, - the rooms bright, airy and top class. Room rate was very reasonable, and I would have no hestitation in recommending this hotel to anyone. Well done Hearn's and thank you to Annie for a wonderful breakfast. more

Just back from a great weekend in Hearns hotel. Annie and all her staff were superb. The food was fantastic with great menus you can choose from and can be emailed to you if you have a group staying. Rooms were spotlessly clean and modern. We would highly recommend this hotel and a great spot for a few drinks and... more

Last week I enjoyed true Irish hospitality in Hearns hotel, which has been recently done up to be a simple, centrally located hotel in Clonmel. We were lucky to be there on a wednesday night, which is the night that O'Keeffe's pub next door has traditional irish music, "craic agus ceol!" (song and dance) as the irish would say was... more

I was nervous about going here after reading the review below but the hotel was recommended by a friend so I still went and I'm so glad I did. The hotel has just been completely refurbished and Id say to 4 star standard. I was one of their first guests and I loved the place. Ther hotel had amazing character... more
