Amazing location on Lough Swilly. Hotel seems new and quite modern. the dining area has a beautiful view over the lough. The rooms were standard....nothing special but clean and adequate for the rate we payed. Stayed here for a "watercolour painting "course and definatly hope to return again to stay. Staff could not do more, were welcoming and made me feel "at home". Wonderful views from the restaurant and "Lough" facing bedrooms. Very clean and comfortable.Good centre for exploring County Donegal although a car is essential. more

We stayed in the Earls Suite for 2 nights. The room was excellent with great views. The food was great. The restaurant also had great views. The atmosphere was friendly and very laid back. The staff could not be more helpful. Rathmullen was a good base for exploring the north of Donegal. Would definitely go back. more
