My 10-day stay at Claddagh Moon was top-notch. The hosts were pleasant and extremely accommodating. Complete knowledge of the local and extended areas, as well as a sense of what my party was most interested in doing, provided a seemless entryway to the sights of West Ireland (and beyond).

The hosts' facility in using their cellphone to acquire the best deals or to coax a local restaurant to stay open just a bit longer to accomodate late -arriving guests was invaluable.

Our initial plan to rent a car for our stay (which included a two-day adventure in Dublin) was changed when it was pointed out to us that all of our favorite sights could be better enjoyed via bus tours and/or private drivers. And that it would be much more economical.

The full Irish breakfast was always looked forward to and the rooms (of varying sizes) were very comfortable. And the location of the town of Oranmore offered the best of both worlds, insofar as one could easily walk into... more
