the suite was clean. The mattress on the bed needed to be replaced. The leather suite was done and needed to be replaced. The corridors smelt of stale carpets. But the worst aspect of the stay was the restaurant food. We actually have never tasted worse, I had turkey which was totally flavourless, the gravy tasted of rosemary and vegetables... more

We stayed here for 2 nights on a 2-night B&B, one evening meal package which was good value. First impressions: Loved the style of the building, open fire in reception etc. Decor in bedrooms a little old-fashioned, especially in the bathroom, but spotlessly clean which is more important. Staff very friendly and helpful, emailing back immediately on a Sunday night... more

We arrived very late in the evening but still were received with warm courtesy and given a choice of two rooms. The duty manager recommended one room over the other and he wasn't wrong. The room was so comfortable, quiet, and well-equipped. It felt like a suite! The hotel is very smart but isn't stuffy. The staff were, without exception,... more

Their is a Leisure centre with all the usual bits It is clean but it could do with a few colorful Murals or drawings on the walls or ceiling.A few exotic plants would really set it off We stayed in a family room which was... more

Stayed here for 2 nights during the Connamarathon. The hotel was clean, well equipped and the staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms are very spacious and have lovely fresh bedlinen. Although decor is a bit dated the overall standard was great. more

This hotel is an old resident located in a quiet residential area outside of the village of Oranmore and about 15 minutes from Galway. We arrived on a Saturday afternoon and were given one of two remaining rooms, located on the lower level. Unfortunately the hotel does not have an elevator so be prepared to lug your suitcase up/down stairs.... more

Myself and my fiancee are getting married in this hotel in september 2009 and we have had lunch in the hotel on a number of occasions but we had not spent a night in the hotel. Recently my parents along with both myself and my fiancee decided to stay there for a night because my mother wanted to see the... more

Hotel about five minutes drive from Galway Airport. Hired a car from the airport at Europcar which was the cheapest and toured all round Galway. Did day trips out to Cliffs of Moher, Portumna Forest Park, drove to Wesport, Mayo. Ate at some lovely restaurants like Park House Hotel and McSwiggans. Service in all places were excellent. Food at Oranmore... more

Great staff at this hotel, will do anything for you. We got a good sized very comfortable family room which had a TV, a fridge, kettle, plenty of towels etc. A very nice hassle free stay. Staff were brilliant, food was great and very reasonable. Great location, far enough from the city centre to avoid any problems but near enough... more
