This is our 3rd stay at Ballyvaughan. It is a wonderful house in an idyllic setting. This time we stayed there with a large group of friends. Bernadette is a wonderful host, and nothing is too much trouble. One or two things have inevitably changed over the years - in particular the breakfast - on prevoius visits a highlight was... more

This is our 4th time at Drumchreehy and this time we came with 14 family and friends. They all fell in love with both the house and the family. Nothing is too much trouble for Bernadette and Armin. 5 star accommodation and attention to details in everything. Highly recommended and we will be back. They made a special holiday even... more

This is a wonderful B&B in a quit town . The lady of the house is a superb hostess, friendly and helpful regarding advice about restaurants. The breakfast is fabulous and there is something for everybody's taste. The room was large and we felt comfortable and at home. The decor and interior design is classy, but not overdone. Our room... more

It's the perfect B&B! Very nice rooms, lovely colours, excellent morning breakfast, very nice and helpful hospitality. I have been there on october '08 with my girlfriend and we had there a very good fast trip to see the wonderful Cliffs of Moher (25 min. driving far). I really suggest this B&B!! Enjoy travelling! This is a lovely B&B and we had a very comfortable room with views across the bay. Their location is very pretty. The owners were friendly and helpful with advice on where to eat. They happily accommodated our two children by putting in an extra bed in the room. The furnishings are lovely and there was plenty of tourist information... more

This B&B was so great I wished we could have spent more days than one. We can't say enough good about it, from the honesty bar, to the elegant breakfast buffet combined with a cooked one that didn't have to include a "fry up". Our en suite room was fantastic with a view over a cow field towards Galway Bay.... more

I stayed 2 nights with my mother at Drumcreehy House in May. We arrived at supper-time but were greeted warmly and given a tour of the sitting room and bar downstairs before being shown upstairs to our charming and spotlessly clean corner room, which looked out to the Burren as well as to the sea. The owner kindly loaned me... more

Let me begin by saying that I have never written a review before but found the treatment my friend and I received in the Drumcreehy House so rude that I had to comment on it. Months ago I requested a room with twin beds and if possible a view of the sea. I was told there would be more flexibility... more

We are grateful for the clients comments but would like to state the situation from our side. Firstly this is a Bed & Breakfast and not a hotel. Hence, our reception is not manned 24 hours and our door is not wide open. In the middle of the house, there is a large black double door with a door knocker...

Drumcreehy House is lovely. Designed to be comfortable for their guests with a lounge filled with comfy couches and honor bar. Our room overlooked the water and was really pretty with a nice bathroom. Breakfast was amazing with a huge buffet filled with smoked salmon, cereals, cheeses, several kinds of bread and muffins - plus you can order a hot... more
