First of all, it's hard to believe tat their B&B is "award winning", as is stated on their website. It is not situated "in a central location". At least not what tourists without cars would consider central (i.e. it is not within reasonable walking distance of a town). It also is not as they had suggested "a base for you... more

Ireland is my destination these past nine years. Letterkenny is home to a dear friend whom I have visited the last four years. Pennsylvania House is spotless, has a spectacular view, excellent breakfast, and answers to your questions. more

Nuala made this experience far exceed our expectations - she should teach classes in how to be a B&B hostess! Upon arriving, we were offered homemade tea, and she sat with us and talked about our trip and the area. Room was immaculate, bathroom spotless, had two vanities. Huge bed. Awesome breakfast. Nuala was ALWAYS around if we had questions.... more

We stayed at Pennsylvania House based on excellent reviews and were not disappointed. We loved the HUGE bed, the biggest we slept on during our entire trip! Nuala was just extremely helpful and very friendly, and it was fun to talk to her husband about politics and football. It was also VERY nice to have a strong wireless internet signal... more

Nuala and Michael Duddy could not have been more accommodating. Our stay was like staying with family. The beautiful, convenient and immaculate B & B together with the friendly, yet non-intrusive hosts could not have been more perfect. There are only positives to report--absolutely no negatives. It was also a perfect base to use in exploring Donegal and surrounding areas--and... more

This was absolutely one of the best bed and breakfasts I've ever stayed at in Ireland. My room was immaculate.....you could do surgery in the bathroom - spotless. The Irish breakfast that Nuala served was text book perfect (I was tempted to take a picture of it) and very delicious. Everything fresh and cooked to order. The common areas are... more

My parents, husband and I recently returned from a two week trip to Ireland. In planning our trip, we reviewed the comments here and decided this was the place for us. Based upon the comments, it was everything we were expected and much more. Nuala met us at the door and once we had settled in, she asked if we... more

My boyfriend, his parents and I traveled around Ireland for two weeks. The four of us stayed at many B&B's during the two weeks and the Pennsylvania House was by far the best. Nuala and her husband had a very warm and inviting home. The other B&B's we stayed at were literally very cold, but Nuala knew exactly what we... more

This was home from home. We started with a very warm welcome and it only got better. The rooms were spotless and the food was excellent. We were given good advice on where to go as it was our first visit to Ireland. Even the weather was kind to us. If you want a first class stopping off point I... more
