Stayed for weekend with the wife. First time in kilkee. Although hotel looked new & modern that was about as good as it got. Smell in the room & looked like bed had been slept in already. Food was very average at best . Complained to manager/owner jim miller & was told if we didn't like it then go somewhere... more

The new owner/manager needs to update his customer service skills, he was rude and unhelful, and couldn't offer many of the services we had been promised when we booked becasue the hotel had gone into receivership since we booked, and he didn't particulalry seem bothered about honouring our booking more

Just back from a stay at the Kilkee Bay Hotel. Have to say the new management team have really raised the level of customer service. From the owner to the waiting staff they couldn't have done enough. Anything we asked for was given without hesitation. Sheets and towels changed daily . Totally family friendly and I don't think we could... more

Very nice hotel in the small seaside town of Kilkee Co, Clare with leisure centre including swimming pool and gym on its doorstep. Five minute walk from the beach and the centre of the town. The hotel is quiet and the free parking, internet access and leisure centre next door makes any stay trouble free. The rooms are sizable with... more

Upon reading the reviews for The Kilkee Bay I find it only fair to inform people that the hotel is under new management and they seem to be trying to right alot of the wrongs wrote about in other reviews. I stayed in the hotel for the triathlon race that takes place in town every year and enjoyed my stay... more

Myself and my wife went down here late last year for a break as it had been a while since we had gotten away. As part of our deal we booked 2 nights B&B and an evening meal. Like one of the other reviews stated where do I start. This hotel was the main reason that I set up a... more
