Booked a week in a holiday home here through a third-party, but when I arrived there was some mix-up, and I was being assigned an apartment, which I felt would have been too small for my family (2 adults and 3 small children from 8 years to 6 months). No problem, however, to woman who greeted us (?manager). Very friendly, immediately re-assigned us to a 3 bedroom bungalow, with no fuss at all, and took responsibility for mix-up (which was probably not her fault at all!)

Really enjoyed the place, it is a holiday village but not of the Butlins/Trabolgan holiday camp variety, i.e., no organised activities, but plenty for the children to do between heated outdoor swimming pool, sports activities, Etc.

Great views of Blackwater estuary, short (but very hilly!!) walk to town of Youghal. Unfortunately, the town of Youghal didn't endear itself to us at all, seemed a bit grotty. Some nice places to eat, though, in particular the Red Store was good, and the Quays wasn't... more
