Youghal is a fairly dull town, but this is the best place to stay/eat if you're there. Try to get a townhouse room. Bathrooms need updating - Celtic tiger has passed them by. I spent a lovely four days with my husband in Ahernes a few months ago, the food is delicious and the friendly and relaxed atmosphere found here is hard to beat.I hope to go back soon for a visit and enjoy somemore prawns in garlic! more
