We recently returned from this hotel and I enjoyed it. Its close to the airport but that didnt matter to us anyway since we rented a car. The breakfast was good and they have a nice restaurant also. The hotel is close to Shannon airport and you can walk to Bunratty Castle. The room we were given was large and clean. But the view out the window was disgusting. We stayed here for a wedding that was taking place in the hotel. The location is fantastic, right beside the entrance to the folk park and beside Durty Nellies pub. I stayed here with my husband and baby on a 'gathering of the clans ' weekend and we really enjoyed our stay. Our room was large, comfortable and luxurious, the staff were helpful, the location is beautiful and the Czech lady who babysat for us was warm, kind and fantastic with our baby. I stayed at the Bunratty Castle Hotel for one night to do the touristy stuff at Bunratty (folk park and the banquet) or if you arrive late at Shannon Airport and need to regroup before travelling.
