Found accomodation here for our last night before flying out of Shannon. Room was clean and comfortable. Bathroom very small but nice shower. Wireless internet available and that is a plus. Didn't see owner much. Prepaid because we were leaving early before breakfast to catch our flight. She discounted the stay for this reason. Decent place close to the airport. more

We arrived later in the day and found rooms here to accomodate us. The rooms were clean, spacious and the beds comfortable. Tea/coffee available 24/7. The hostess that checked us in was very gracious and even asked if we needed anything from the grocier. The decor featured bold colors and overstuffed furniture. Stories of the history of Ireland, antique prams... more

We stayed at Bunratty woods B & B for two nights and had a very pleasant stay. I booked for 10 of us for my sisters hen party and we all had a fantastic time. Everything is very clean and tidy, rooms are beautifully decorated. Breakfast is delicious. Maureen was very accomadating and helped me to find some where to... more

I booked directly via telephone with Maureen two days prior to my stay. She was very helpful on the phone, even knew when my flight would be leaving! They discount your rate if you aren't able to stay for breakfast. I was very pleasantlyl surprised by the warm personal decor and atmosphere of the house. Paddy greeted us on arrival,... more

We had a very nice visit to Bunratty Woods for one night in August 2007. We stayed in a comfortable family room, with a double and two twins, table/chairs, and ensuite bathroom with shower. There was a nice tea service in the main hall, with trays to take back to rooms. The inn was beautifully decorated with interesting memorabilia, and... more

I booked a room at this particular B&B based on its good reviews and the opportunity for early check in. We received an email from the hostess, Maureen, prior to our departure from the US with specific windows of time for check in. When we arrived within the stated morning time frame, the door was locked and there was a... more

We arrived at Bunratty Woods a day early, after calling to be sure Maureen had room for us. She told us she did and after a wet day driving from Clifden, we arrived. Maureen showed us to our rooms and was most charming. That night a guest, who seemed a little addled, began beating on my mother's door (which she... more

We came to Bunratty Woods after checking your reviews from other people. It was close to the airport and Bunratty Castle which made the location perfect for us. We(my husband, our daughter and her husband and me) arrived and were greeted by Maureen herself. She was delightful and glad to help us with our plans. We went to the banquet at Bunratty... more

We had a strange, horrible experience with the owner. My brother in law Floyd, a nice middle aged college biology professor, decided to walk back to the B&B from Bunratty Castle and upon arriving at the property took some photographs of the exterior for his scrapbook. Maureen came out and asked him if he was an American. When he replied... more

Very clean and friendly staff. Did not see much of owners except at check-in and check-out. Nice parlor and breakfast. The area has limited restaurants and is in the Castle Park grounds with numerous other B&Bs. It was very above average and I really only gave it a 4 rating because I save my 5s for those truly special places... more
