Room #1 was dirty, stained carpet in the bedroom and mildrew all over the bathroom. Power failure at approx. 12:30 a.m. caused hall alarms to go off. We had two rooms at the Park House B&B in June 2009. We found the B&B charming, the rooms clean and well appointed, the location convenient, and breakfast fantastic! Sinead and Shane were the icing on the cake. Warm, welcoming and very friendly, they made our first night in Ireland more than we had hoped or expected. more

We have stayed with Sinead & Shane on four occassions now, on our own and sharing County Clare with family and friends. I think that says it all! Bunratty area is a wonderful and Sinead & Shane have a great knowledge of the area if you have any questions. The rather dark walk back from the Castle and 'Durty Nellies'... more

In spite of a mix up with reservations, Sinead and Shane were very accomodating and friendly. The room was very clean and nicely furnished. We had an early flight out in the morning and there was coffee and a take-away breakfast waiting for us. more

Sinead and Shane are the most compassionate and understanding people that I have encountered in the hospitality industry. I reserved the family suite for my June 23rd visit, but I encountered a problem with Ryanair (one of the WORST european airlines ever), and so I was not able to fly to Ireland. The O'Briens went out of their way to make us comfortable and were some of the kindest and most personable people we met (they even made us reservations at the Castle for dinner and showed us a shortcut to the airport), and the place was beautifully decorated.
