We started our trip with a 1night stay at Dunaree. We could not have started off at a better location. We had 2 rooms at Dunaree and both were done wonderfully. Penny was gracious and her breakfast was great! If there was a down side it was that we had to "find" out hostess on the eveing before breakfast and... more

Dunaree was a perfect start to our trip in Ireland. Penny is a delightful hostess and a great cook. The rooms are large, comfortable and extremely clean. Given the chance, we'll be back! more

We had a great time at Dunaree. It wasn't physically separated from the rest of the home, as all of the other B&B's we've stayed in have been, but it wasn't too weird being close to the family. Breakfast was great and Penny was very friendly and helpful. The house was beautiful and spacious, and our room was very nice.... more

Not knocking this B&B but a warning for those of you travelers who aren't entirely comfortable with staying in a family's home, much as if you were crashing at a relative's house. Guests stay just feet away from the owners' and their son's room, and you may feel uncomfortable leaving your room, even though there's no television. It is a... more

Our last night in Ireland was spent at Dunaree and we would highly recommend it. Very comfortable home and Penny was a delight. She made us feel very welcome and as our flight was leaving early in the a.m. she was kind enough to put a cooler out for us with milk, juice and yogurt. We were able to help... more

Having used Trip Advisor to find a 'home away from home' for our recent trip to Ireland, I feel compelled to write about our trip. Dunaree was the perfect choice!! Penny made us feel right at home from the minute we walked in the door. Everything was really clean and breakfast was very tasty!! It also needs to be said... more

My wife and I stayed here September 8, 2005- our last night of a 17-day vacation. We chose Dunaree because of price and location (just a few minutes drive from Shannon) and were not disappointed in either. The house is quite attractive and our room was comfortable. Since we were leaving early in the morning, we did not get to... more

We stayed at Dunaree for our last two nights in Ireland. It was a wonderul experience at the end of our trip! Our room was huge, and all guest rooms are "en suite". The hosts were very friendly, and had a wide selection for breakfast available (in addition to "Full Irish"- pancakes, french toast...). Definitely worth another visit! more

My husband and I stayed at this quaint B&B just down the road from Bunratty Castle and Durty Nelly's Pub. We only stayed one night but were very happy with the accomodations. Penny made us feel right at home and her home-cooked breakfast was fantastic! We had a great time visiting both the castle and Durty Nelly's...a must see when... more
