We have stayed at Innisfree B & B several times over the years. The last being twice in June 2007. Mel greets us with her cheer- ful smile and warm, wonderful way. She is more than willing to answer questions or offer help to her guests. Innisfree is a lovely, well-kept home in a quiet, country setting and yet, is... more

Clean, comfortable, convenient to the airport. Bunratty Castle, shopping and dining were a 15-20 minute walk away. We stayed here both before and after our guided walking tour in County Kerry. Hostess Imelda McCarthy was very helpful with suggestions as to what to see in the immediate area and north into County Clare. more

As we had done on our last trip to Ireland, we stayed at Innisfree with Mel again. This visit was as pleasurable as our past ones. I was concerned when I had read a negative review but all of my concern was for nought. Mel's home was as beautiful and comfortable as I remembered. The rooms were spacious and nicely... more

On our second trip to Ireland and Bunratty, we stayed at Innisfree again. We enjoyed our visit to Innisfree as much the second time as we did on the first time. The bedrooms are nicely decorated. Both the bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious with plenty of room to spread out necessities. We were warmly greeted by Mel. Breakfast was freshly... more

In June, I travelled to Ireland and stayed at Innisfree at the start and finish of my two week trip. It was a lovely experience each time. It was womderful to arrive and NOT lug my suitcases upstairs. All rooms are on the first floor - what a treat. I was with my Aunt and we stayed together in one... more

My wife and I have stayed with Mel at Inishfree for our last night in Ireland five years in a row. Mel is a lovely host and her home with its beautiful gardens are a delight. Because of our early flight she packed us a box breakfast full of lovely scones. Location on the low road is excellent and it... more

Did we stay at the same Innisfree B&B that other Trip Advisor members stayed at? Having read such rave reviews about this place I actually double checked when I returned to make sure there is not 2 Innisfree B&B’s in Bunratty. I am amazed that my opinion of this B&B contrasts so much with many of the other reviews. We... more

Staying at Innisfree is always fantastic. The location is beautiful overlooking open fields and the hills beyond. Imelda is warm and gracious. The breakfast is alway fresh, hot and made to order. Imelda and her husband are alway very welcoming and more than willing to help with suggestions of places to go, and with things to see and do, and... more

We have just returned from 2 weeks in Ireland where we had pre-booked to stay at Innisfree B&B for our first 2 nights. The warm welcome we received from Mel & her husband encouraged us to also book our last 2 nights to stay in their beautiful home. The house and the gardens are magnificent and we have never experienced... more

I'm coming over to Innisfree for about 5 years to see my kids who are living in Shannon. I specially picked this place because it is perfect for me and the kids, we can have one big room together and the boys have their special breakfast. For me it is a great delight to have the full Irish breakfast and... more
