Staff wonderful. Food amazing & cheap. Rooms recently refurbished & comfy. Excellent choice for breakfast. Stayed for 1 night on Saturday 6th June with my boyfriend and my parents. It was my mothers 70th birthday and we had a party earlier at the family home and came to Ballybunion for the night - what a wonderful finish to an excellent... more

Not near any other points of Interest so mostly used by Tour groups. Food is like good home cooking plenty of it, though restaurant cramped Rooms average. but walls paper thin.At night live... more

We stayed at the Cliff House Hotel on a short trip to County Kerry between weekends in London. Husband played one round of golf at Ballybunion and we spent the other two days exploring the Dingle Peninsula and Killarney National Park. Cliff House Hotel was great. Our room (#35) was comfortable for the two of us and 4-year old daughter.... more

20 people on golf trip from London. Everyone on the trip loved the food and the hotel in general and rated it top class. The entourage also loved the entertainment from Noel in the bar at night. more

I had an overnight stay at the Cliff House in June, we ate in the bar and the food was wonderful, the people were very friendly also. My room however was another story, the shower basin did not drain, which was a problem, and the carpet in the bedroom #12 was just simply filthy, complete with gum embedded in it.... more

We have just returned from a three-day stay at the Cliff House Hotel. It lacked too many basic facilities and courtesies for the €70 per person per night that we were charged. There was no reserved parking for guests, so that very often all the parking spaces were taken up by people visiting the bar. Our room had neither shower... more

Ballybunion is one of the loveliest towns and even though I don't play golf the beaches alone are worth the trip. This September will be my 5th trip to County Kerry and over the weekends I stay at the Cliff House. The hotel is comfortable; it's the people that make it charming and inviting. The owners are welcoming; the dining... more

My daughter and I stayed here in the end of May 2002. It was such a lovely view of the sea. Room was quite nice. Hope to return in the near future. Hotel was located central to beach and town. more
