We ended our two week Ireland vacation with a two night stay at The Tides Guesthouse. Such a fabulous place, so beautiful and cozy! My husband had an early tee time, so they let me check in, I was so appreciative of that! The thing that impressed me the most, is David and Doreen treat you as if you're a... more

The Tides is a fantastic B&B right outside of downtown Ballybunion on the road to Listowel. The room was great, everything is brand new and very clean. Breakfasts were excellent, all home cooked meals right out of the kitchen. David greeted us the 1st day and took us to the 150th anniversary horse races in Listowel where we saw great... more

I have just returned from a week in Southwest Ireland with my son and two golfing friends. We had the great pleasure of staying three nights at the Tides Guesthouse in Ballybunion. I have had numerous golfing vacations in Ireland and Scotland, staying in five star resorts to B&B's, and this was the best. We booked our accommodations sight unseen... more

David greeted us with open arms and helped us with all of our itinerary and what was going on socially around us there. Very very helpful and accomodating. The guesthouse is pristine and the food is excellent. Very easy for traveling to the golf course and into town. Would do it again.!!!! Thanks David more

The views from the dining area are fantastic. Your look out over the sea while having your breakfast will leave you in a relaxed mood for the day ahead. All the rooms are finished to a very high standard, so much so that they are better than some 4* places we have stayed in, in the past. Breakfast is cooked... more

What a gem! The nicest place we stayed at on our two week golf holiday (and we payed a lot more at other places). David is an excellent host, the facility is practically new and the attention to detail throughout was amazing. Calling the Tides a B&B does not do it service. It is much nicer than that. Further, the... more

We booked The Tides Guesthouse in Ballybunion as we were attending a wedding locally. The service and attention that we received was excellent. When we booked we asked if it were possible to arrive early (12:30) in order to change and get ready for the wedding as we had to travel for over an hour from our home and wanted... more

This is truly a great stay. Great Irish breakfast is served daily and is very enjoyable. David is an excellent host with tons of connections helpful in making your trip perfect. He pointed us to great restaurants in Ballybunion and was able to get our group out on to a golf course previously closed because of wet weather. This is... more

What a host David was the best he treated us like Kings. What a beautiful place. The rooms and food were the best 5 STARS all the way. David booked for our group of 6 everything. Mike our driver was the tops and both Mike & David are excellent golfers. When staying there ask about the secret restaurants that are... more

The Tides Guesthouse Ballybunion Co was simply the BEST . I would encourage all other B&B owners to go and stay their so that they would know how to run their property to the highest level. This property was simply the best of our entire trip. Every aspect was of our stay was EXCELLANT!!! Every detail was OUTSTANDING! I will... more
