A two day motorcycling break in Donegal with my brother. The Harbour Inn provided spacious, clean and well equipped rooms in a motel style. The rooms lacked character but were ideal for our trip. Breakfast was adequate as was the pub/restaurant. Altogether very good value. more

I booked this 'hotel' based on the reviews i read .I should begin by saying it is cheap, in money terms, but alas that carries through to the whole experience . Was staying one Saturday night. Was attending a wedding locally and wanted to check in early and change in the hotel. Rang the hotel an hour before arrival and asked if it would be possible for a room to be ready. We would be arriving around 1PM and was told this was fine and they woudl get a room ready... more

Stayed here September 2008 with my boyfriend. Food was delicious and great value for money. There is also a lovely bar. The harbour is in a great location over looking the golf course just outside of buncrana town. The rooms are basic but nice and clean! The rate was 50 euro pp including breakfast which was ok. Just home from the harbour inn hotel 39 of us had a great time,The rooms are indeed huge and the staff excellent especially Craig the head chef and Laura on reception and ok Martin the bar manager.....We all had a bawl...Well done Harbour inn ....... more

I stayed a few nights at the Harbour Inn and absolutely loved it. The room was spacious and very clean. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Breakfast was included and they provided several options to choose from. Can't say enough good things about this hotel. more

On a whirlwind tour of Ireland I stayed in the Harbour Inn in Buncrana. It was very clean, the rooms were huge and the breakfast was yum. We stayed for one night with our teenage son on a short tour of the North of Ireland. A warm and friendly welcome at reception, a room the size of a football pitch, a welcoming bistro/bar with good food, a breakfast to set you up for a week, about 10 minute walk to town but just off the 11th at the Northwest Golf Club and just over the road from the beach. Excellent value for money. more
