Stayed in this hotel recently with my Husband and 2 1/2 year old. on arrival there was no account of our booking, as their email was down and the receptionist 's lack of interest was a bad start. The room was overlooking a run down area with the rear of a pub and very annoying smashing bottles. These things could... more

We decided to book this hotel at the last minute and got a good deal on line without breakfast, We asked for a quiet room at the back of the hotel and that we got, the beds were really comfortable and the showers were good, the bathrooms were nice and modern, It was cheap and cheerful and the rooms were... more

I stayed in the Lahinch Golf and Leisure last month for a weekend away with my family and felt I had to comment on the enjoyable stay we had. From the moment we checked in, the hotel exceeded our expectations. The staff i found extremely accomodating and friendly. We had breakfast both mornings in the restaurant and by all accounts... more

Had a short stay (Fri/Sun) and found the staff all very helpful & friendly. Good location, but then everywhere is in Lahinch due to its layout. The rates were good... we ended up paying €45 per person, per night, sharing with no breakfast. But the rate jumped to €70 if you wanted breakfast. So we ended up eating in a... more

We had stayed here previously, but feel the standards in the hotel generally have dropped dramatically. The reception staff were less than helpful, without even managing a smile when we arrived for our stay. We ordered breakfast to our room for the first morning, (which was an additional four euro each) which arrived cold and incomplete. We ordered two fruit... more

This hotel has forced me to write a review for the first time ever, and not to praise it. I stayed here last September and have never received less value for money. We took a package deal, two nights B&B and an evening meal. What they didn't tell us was that in order to pick a meal off the normal... more

Myself and a party of 10 others stayed in the Hotel on the 25th September 2008. We had booked 5 bedrooms. On arrival they upgraded us to 2 bedroom suites. The suites were really lovely, spacious with no noise. We found the reception staff most courteous and helpful. We dined in the diningroom (very nice ambience) and we were all... more

I stayed for 3 nights on business in this hotel and it was adequate but nothing special. You should be given a map and a compass on arrival as it is a sprawling mess of corridors and rooms that make no sense whatsoever. I was in room 21 which was accessed by going up one floor from reception, along a... more

After deciding on a last minute trip to the west from Dublin, I came up on this Hotel on the internet & logged onto Trip Advisor to read the reviews...I was surprised to read some unhappy comments but decided to write my own when I returned. After a very pleasant drive down, my friend & I were greeted by very... more

I was extremely disappointed with this hotel. We were allocated two rooms in the old part of hotel which we're located at the end of a maze of hallways. A little shabby and definitely not a four star. From approximately 2am onwards the noise of the of the local night club emptying was deafening with people screaming and running up... more
