We were very apprehensive based on the reviews given here in the last few months, however we were quite satisfied once we arrived! The surrounding area of the hotel was very picturesque. While the rooms were very dated, they were big, spacious and most importantly, clean. Dinner in the restaurant was very tasty. The leisure centre and spa is a... more

After reading some of the reviews about the Falls Hotel we seriously thought about cancelling but I'm really glad we didn't. We stayed there for two nights at the beginning of November and found that standards were very acceptable. Yes it's old fashioned and the furniture was 1980's dated but the bed was clean and comfortable, the linen and towels... more

I logged on to this site to read over some of the reviews of the Falls hotel in Ennistimon ahead of my visit. I'm just back from a week's trip around Ireland where I stayed in 4 different hotels. After reading some of the reviews of the Falls Hotel I was apprehensive about what was waiting for my girlfriend &... more

I have just spent a night in this hotel and just want to let people know that if your expecting what you see in their website you are in for a huge shock. The room that I was in was disgusting . Not even close to the picture they show on their site. It was old, it smelt, and everything... more

This hotel needs a total revamp. Looks shabby on the outside. Rate of €85 pps - no iron in the room. Smelled and felt damp. Bed linen did not match. Bathroom was grubby and the shower did not work properly. However, staff were friendly and the food was ok. more

We stayed at the hotel with two friends to celebrate an engagement and a birthday and we were really looking forward to it. We Booked seperately so got rooms on different floors which was no problem as we did not request otherwise. Rooms were very simple and dated. Definately needs a revamp. We were a few doors from the leisure... more

Our family had recently stayed in the Falls Hotel. We found hotel through SuperValue site to get away for three days before the school starts. My boys couldn't wait to get to the swimming pool, and I have to say that Leisure Centre and Spa are fabulous. I had a body massage in the Spa and it was the most... more

The Good Points: friendly staff, nice evening meal, charming foyer. The Bad Points: non-smoking room smelled of smoke, bathroom suite was eighties and grubby, room was dark and needed repainting, furniture was cheap and old, window was dirty, cooked breakfast was sloppy and poor quality. Overall: Will never stay here again. Completely over-priced. Spend your money on a luxury B&B... more

After reading some of the reviews here on the web i was a bit anxious about staying here but i was surprised.. my experience was good. It is a big hotel with views at the front of the casades. Greeted by nice reception staff. Downstairs was modern but the rooms were old fashioned but very spacious which we liked.. nice... more
