It all started in the spring 2009, I decided to go to Ireland for 11 days--in looking for places to stay, I researched Enniskerry, Ireland. This location was based on a movie I had seen, "P.S. I Love You". In coming across locations, this one really got to me based on prior positive reviews. It is located in the center... more

We arrived late in Enniskerry due to airline problems, and we were warmly greeted by Noel. The B & B was absolutely lovely, as was the village of Enniskerry. We had dinner at Johnnie Fox's which was delicious and cozy by the fire. Ferndale had beautiful gardens, and the breakfast was the best of our entire stay in Ireland! Josie... more

Fun, clean rooms, great breakfast. The house is less than 45 minutes from Dublin Airport, so it was an easy first day drive upon our arrival in Ireland, especially since it was later in the day. Check out the huge garden. Very close to Powerscourt. Josie and Noel are wonderful hosts. We stayed here our first night in Ireland, and... more

Wonderful hosts. Great location in a quiet, small town. There is not a lot to do here, but if you want to get out of Dublin on your arrival, its only a 45 min drive to get here. Nice large, comfy rooms. Great food. A definate A+++++++++. more

This B & B is located in a cute little town near Powerscourt Gardens. We couldn't have been greeted more graciously or fed more sumptuously. The rooms are clean and they have a beautiful garden as Noel is a master gardner. There is a nice choice of places to eat across the street. more

This charming B & B was right in the heart of Enniskerry, just a stone's throw from local pubs, restaurants etc. It was also around a mile from Powerscourt House and Gardens which we recommend visiting. The home was warm and the owners helpful. Our room was pretty basic but nice and clean. Breakfast was fantastic and eating it with... more

We arrived in Enniskerry -- after traveling from Chester, England, by train and then to Dublin by ferry and then by car to Enniskerry -- only to learn that our intended B&B destination (not Ferndale) had made a mistake with our reservation and there were no rooms available. Not quite knowing what to do, we wandered into the village for... more

My fiancee and I stayed one night at Ferndale House while touring the area. The place is ideally located for anyone who wants to walk around the village center and it's a short drive form Powerscourt. The person on duty was very friendly and she cooked up the most AMAZING breakfast. This is definitely the place I'd recommend staying for... more

My friend and I had business in Wicklow, but we also wanted to be able to see some of Dublin. Friends in Enniskerry recommended Ferndale, where we stayed for just over a week. We were very happy we landed in this lovely, cozy and supremely well located B and B. The owners, Josie and Noel Corcoran, quickly welcomed us to... more

We loved our stay here. The room was small but quaint. But the down side is if you have any mobility issues there are quite a few stairs to negotiate. Our ensuite was situated down a few steps from our room which caused a slight problem for my mum who has a mobility problem. I would suggest some handrails to... more
