i found the staff at the grand hotel to be very helpful and pleasant and the food to be superb. as explained to all guests on arrival, the hotel is currently being revamped and the final result is looking well so far. the other comments are unfounded from my experience. Staff very nice and friendly, nice food and drinks but the rooms were the pits. Shower broken, shower door off its hinges, shaver socket an electrocution hazard, smallest bathroom on the planet, filthy dirty carpet in bed room, mattress so thin my back is still sore.
