Came off the Offas Dyke path to find food and shelter from the pooring rain. These guys kindly opened the door to us and offered us a room. We were able to dry our things out by the log fire and have a drink. A warm and cosy building with friendly owners who made us feel welcome, very modern decor... More

Having endured the worst weather the Offas Dyke path had to throw at me, i found the crown inn a few minutes off the trail and was lucky to get a room owing to a cancellation that very day. I was welcomed into the bar area from the misery outside to a roaring fire and was able to leave my... More

My wife and I had a two nights break voucher gift, out of all the available venues we are glad we chose this one, Debbie and Lindsey are very friendly welcoming hosts, excellent piping hot food, nice beer, comfortable rooms coupled with a 17th century feel with the structure (slightly uneven floors and ceilings) The vale of Clun is set... This is a great place to stay for a weekend break. The welcome was warm, the bedroom spacious and comfortable and the food hit the spot ! It's a perfect for walking and getting away from it all. we'll definitely return.

Received a 2 night break voucher for Xmas. Never been to Shropshire so chose this Inn. Lindsey and Debbie are very helpful and laid back so had a very relaxed trip. Bedroom 3 was lovely, comfy bed and pillows, shower room very clean and beautiful view from window. Ate dinner in the hotel and we both enjoyed our meals and... More

The ladies were welcoming, friendly & helpful. The good sized rooms have been recently refurbished with new furniture although our en suite needs some attention. A fourth room is now ready & another on the way soon. Lovely views all round. The dining room has been rejuvenated in contemporary style whilst retaining the old character. Good plates of decent food... More

The building on the outside does not look terribly inviting but WOW the room we had was lovely! Decorated and furnished in keeping with this several hundred year old building and very comfortable. Food was very nicely cooked but the portions a little small, good range of food available and reasonably priced. The owners were very welcoming and nothing was... More

Stayed at The Crown for a two night break and ate there both nights. The bedrooms are lovely with large comfortable beds and all amenities you need. I should imagine the rooms can be cold because of the old windows but the owners more than compensate for this with the heating and the electric blankets. It has the right blend... More

Lyndsey and Debbie are very welcoming and run a well-organised and very clean B&B. Our room was really nice, tastefully decorated and very comfortable. The main courses in the restaurant were tasty and warming. The full English breakfast was absolutely perfect, I can't imagine a better on. Many thanks.
