My husband & I stayed in Doolin over the Christmas holidays and stayed at Doonmacfelim House mostly because everything else was closed. But we were quite satisfied with the large bedrooms, the access to the common room (where we watched "In the Name of the Father"), and the very large & tasty Irish breakfasts. My wife I recently returned from Ireland. We stayed at 3 other B&B's (all in the same price category) besides Doonmacfelim. Simply put, we were very disapointed and would not recommend staying here. After traveling for 2 weeks through Ireland, staying at different B&B's every couple of days, I wouldn't leave my dog at Doonmcfelin. The owners are careless, sloppy, and uninterested in your stay.
