This was my third visit to this warm, comfortable bed and breakfast and as usual, everything was perfect. The weather was windy and cold but inside was a great welcome from Margaret and an added bonus was the fact that my electric blanket was turned on each night. Such comfort! Breakfast was wonderful, home made bread and jams and a... More

We arrived a little late due to the tale end of a Hurricane, but we were greeted with the most gracious hostess named Margaret, she was a such a special warm and welcoming woman. Just what we needed. The home was immaculate and our room was charming, clean and well appointed. It was brand new, it looked as if the... More

Our family has enjoyed the hospitality of Margaret and family for many years. Our most recent visit in July 2011 felt like a homecoming. The welcome was sincere, the conversation delightful and the Irish breakfast the best of our two weeks on the Emerald Isle. Doolin has grown since our first visit in 1987 and Margaret has upgraded the accomodations,... More

Margaret , your host, will greet you with a pot of tea or coffee. She is warm and friendly and her home is large and comfortable. The rooms are spacious and spotless with a comfortable chair and good beds. Located close to the Cliffs of Moher and a short ride to the village, we really enjoyed our time there. The... More

This was the first B&B we stayed in on our recent trip to Ireland. Margaret welcomed us with open arms and true Irish charm. Our room was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed watching the Dubs play Kerry in the finals of the Gaelic Football match on the sitting room TV. There is a very nice restaurant across the street where... More

My family really enjoyed our stay here in August 2011. Margaret Carey was a great hostess and a joy to get to know. Her B&B's location is wonderful for people wanting to see the Cliffs of Moher, the Burren and Doolin. We felt right at home the two nights we stayed here. Our room was very nice, comfortable, clean and... More

My boyfriend and I stayed here for one night last week on our fourth night in Ireland. Margaret, the host, was incredible! Upon arrival I felt right at home. She had fresh scones in the morning, and hot food on our plates. The home itself was clean and welcoming. The room was spacious and extremely comfortable, i slept like a... More

My sister and I really enjoyed our visit to Emohruo Farm house. Margaret gave us a warm welcome along with some coffee and cookies. The second day there was my birthday so she bought us two glasses of Irish cream to celebrate. The beds were comfortable and we loved the dog, Shannon, and the horse Sprite. I would highly recommend... More

Emohruo is located on the beatiful road going from Doolin to the Cliffs of Moher (a few minutes drive from the center of Doolin). The place is beautiful (we could see the ocean from our window) and very quiet. Our room was nice, large and perfectly clean (same for the bathroom). The bed was particularly comfortable : I slept like... More
