It was our first trip to Ireland. The Ashbrook Lodge and Olwyn, made our first stop memorable. Her breakfasts were delicious and filling. She gave us ideas on what we might like to see and visit in the area. Her suggestion to eat at McGann's for dinner was excellent. Her rooms were large and comfortable. The location of the B&B... more

This B&B is outstanding. The house is completely new and very clean. Rooms are large with beautiful interior, everything is in good taste. Large beds. Warm house. We spent a great night there! The house has magnificent view from the windows to the Atlantic Ocean and Aran islands. This B&B is situated in a quiet place just 8 km from... more

Olwyn, thanks again for all your help and for finding those camera cards. Matt was really worried we'd lost all our pictures. Our stay was just delightful, and as promised below is the review I just submitted to traveladvisor. You earned every word. I always use Travel Advisor and find it very useful so I want to share a great... more

We were traveling in Ireland for only a week and eventually leaving to continue our vacation in London. After a drive from Killarney to the Cliffs of Moher and seeing sites along the way we were looking for a place to stay and a bite to eat. We came upon the Ashbrook Lodge Bed & Breakfast in our travel booklet*.... more

We found this B&B by accident after Cullinan's Guesthouse lost our reservation. They were very welcoming and we enjoyed our visit. The room was large with a large bath and a sitting area and was very nice. Breakfast was fine. There are little children in the house, but they were quiet. We did have to wait to check out while... more

Ashbrook Lodge was great! I am only sorry that it took me so long to write this review. The room was great, and big(!) - which I don't think we fully appreciated as it was our first B&B (of 3) in Ireland. Olywn was a wonderful hostess - very helpful with suggestions of what to do in the area, and very... more

For 36 euros per night we received a large tastefully decorated room with a queensize bed and a separate sitting area with a beautiful view of the rolling Irish countryside down to the bay. The room was kept immaculately clean during our stay and Olwyn was very accomodating to our needs for a vegetarian breakfast. We didn't mind being a... more

Olwyn Egan is a GREAT hostess who treated us like family. We booked 2 rooms there which were very BIG for a B&B and they were VERY clean and well kept. Breakfast was great with a wide choice of what to have. It is located just a short walk or ride to the village where you get good 'pub grub'... more

Five-star accommodation at B&B prices. We were given a large, immaculate and very comfortable room and an exquisite breakfast. Only potential problem is location. It's a half-hour walk from the main street in Doolin, where the traditional music pubs / restaurants are to be found, and it's difficult to get a taxi. Apart from that - a wonderful B&B. more

Ashbrook Lodge Bed and Breakfast is in the hills overlooking the bay and the little village of Doolin. It is a new purpose built b&b and the rooms are large and very tastfully decorated and appointed. The bathrooms even included wash clothes, unusual for Ireland. Olwyn Egan is a wonderful hostess with two darling little boys. She made us feel... more
