We had a great time staying in Doolin at The Dubhlinn House. Martin and Joan are friendly and warm people. The room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfasts were excellent and made to order. I tried to make the same porridge (Irish oatmeal) when I returned home that Joan and Martin made for us during our stay at Dubhlinn... more

Dubhlinn House was a sparkling clean, charming B&B in a perfect location in lower Doolin. Martin and Joan were very helpful, offered wonderful suggestions, and our stay was very comfortable. more

Dubhlinn House is a clean, pretty B+B in picturesque Doolin. Terrific location on a side street (quieter), but within easy walking distance of everywhere in town. The hosts, Martin and Joan, both went out of their way to make us comfortable. Their recommendations for restaurants, pubs and sites were terrific and appreciated. The best Irish breakfast in the country! We... more

We spent our first night in Ireland at the Dubhlinn House and loved it! Joan and Martin were wonderful hosts. They suggested a very nice pub in town for dinner and real Irish music (which I believe was the only time we heard authentic Irish music on the whole trip.) There was a nice view from our room and the... more

We really enjoyed our stay at this b and b; Joan and Martin were the friendliest and most helpful hosts that we encountered on our trip to Ireland. The rooms were very clean and spacious, and my husband complimented the breakfasts, also. (I unfortunately am not hungry in the morning. This is a very walkable distance from all pubs/shops, but... more

We liked our stay at Dubhlinn House very much. The rooms are nicely decorated although from outside the house looks a bit scruffy. The owners were very friendly. Martin told us a lot about Doolin. That was very nice. Breakfast was excellent (salmon, mackerel......). GREAT! It´s a pity that they don´t have any pavements in Doolin and that it is... more

April 2006, we, a Swiss couple, spend the third time our holidays in Ireland and stayed 3 nights at Dubhlinn House, the B&B of Joan and Martin Reilly ( Doolin/ Co.Claire) like all the years before. After our break in Westport, we returned at Doolin again and stayed another 2 nights at the Dubhlinn House, It always seems like coming... more

I have finally been to Ireland! It was a great place to go. Among the wonderful surprises for me was the little town of Doolin, right on the western coast. It was a perfect place for a home base, as it is just beside the Burren, just barely north of the Cliffs of Moher, just south of Galway and Ballyvaughan,... more
