“Great town”

This was hands down my favorite place we stayed in Ireland. The town was very quaint and so close to some amazing sites. We stayed there for two nights, wish we had stayed more. more

We stayed at Nellie Dees for 6 nights, using it as a base for our travels throughout County Clare. The hosts are friendly and kind (and they accommodated our early arrival). This is a lovely, clean and modern little guest house. The hosts, Loraine and Jimmy are friendly and accommodating, without hovering. Our room looked like a page from an IKEA catalog. After studying website and reviews on Trip Advisor, I contacted two Doolin B&Bs to inquire about reservations only to be told they were fully booked. A bit worried, I contacted my third choice and was able to reserve a room. Quite frankly, I'm happy those first two were booked up as Nellie Dee's was perfect. Upon arrival, we parked on... more
