The convention was a big success and the Mauna Lani Resort was the primary reason. The service at the receptions was excellent and the entertainment was first-rate. The resort did everything that was requested to ensure a successful meeting.

Stayed 3 nights at the Mauna Lani with my husband and 8-month old daughter. Check-in process was nice. Like others have said, we were presented with shell leis. (They even gave one to the baby!) They were are all set up for us with a crib already in the room. Room was very spacious and even had a tiny fridge.... More

This is one of the prettist hotels you will ever stay at, located right on the ocean, with beautiful white sand beaches among the volcano rock in the surf. The entrance and foyer for the hotel is all open air with beautiful scenery all around. The staff is so polite and friendly, it makes you think you are finally at... More

After our careful review process of TripAdvisor ratings on Kona area hotels, Mauna Lani received one of the best ratings. We booked our stay as a vacation package from May 2, 2013 - May 10, 2013. After our arrival and the complimentary valet, we were presented with leis, delicious juice, and a refreshing moist hand towel upon check in. Quite... More

Chose this hotel blindly thru a travel website - and then decided to get married there - what a great choice! The hotel has wonderful grounds to walk and take in the history of the island. Turtles come ashore to sunbath, snorkeling right off the beach is excellent, plenty of chairs poolside and oceanside for use and a pleasant room... More

We stay at the Mauna Lani Terraces, just a stone's throw from the Mauna Lani Hotel. We often walk over to have breakfast or lunch or a drink at their outdoor bar. This year, the business groups that the Mauna Lani hosted from May 4- 9 had outdoor parties, etc. There was also a wedding. We are not prudes but... More

My husband and I just stayed six days at the Mauna Lani and we loved it. The property is uniquely beautiful with gardens and preserved ancient ponds stocked with beautiful tropical fish, manta rays, and tortoises. The hotel structure is very open, well set in its environment and lacks pretentiousness. It is not contrived or touristy but very comfortable. The... More

We've been going to the Mauna Lani since it opened in 1983 and it is still the most beautiful, peaceful, incredible hotel on all of Hawaii. The staff is the best anywhere, the food is awesome, the scenery is unparalleled, and the overall experience is the wonderful Hawaii that one fantasizes about. Yes it's expensive but worth every penny. Rejuvenate... More

We are a family of 3 and stayed 4 days at this beautiful hotel. The check inn process was average but from then on it was all of high standards. Rooms are clean and roomy, most of them will have some partial ocean view unless you are facing the mountains. Hotel is located in a idyllic location with beautiful gardens,... More

We enjoyed 7 days at the Mauna Lani. The rooms are large and comfortable and we had an excellent view. We had a great time on the quiet beach, where we watched Sea Turtles coming to shore, net fishing demonstrations, swimming and snorkeling. At night we'd go down and lay on one of the hammocks rocking in the breeze and... More
