I decided to book a room at Guys last minute on Sunday night for a stay on Monday night and the website for booking was more than helpful and the room was booked easily. We decided we wouldn't be in the room much so we just booked a standard room at £60 a night. We traveled from Blackpool and it... More

My partner and I stayed here on Friday night to celebrate our anniversary. They do offer a deal but we decided to have a try at the deluxe executive suite. We were greeted by a nice reception lady who checked us in promptly and off we went. The room was average sized, clean and warm upon entering. I did however... More

Have been going here for years yet never stayed. Decided to do the Sunday saver and stay over. Was met by an abrupt receptionist, but she was busy. Room was fine, old and needing work, lots of damp and never ending toilet running, but it is what is to be expected with an old building. It was clean and spacious... More

We had been warned by friends before our arrival not to go...to our detriment we ignored their advise! The food was incredibly average, the hotel decoration dated and poorly appointed and the hotel manager was a rare combination of both rude and incompetent! I cannot stress how poor our overall experience was. I was forced into rating this establishment a... More

I stayed here on 23rd March with my partner. We booked an executive room which had a whirlpool bath. The room was very dated, some of the furniture was damaged and cracked and carpet was worn out all was in need of a refresh. I am not complaining as I didn’t expect all mod cons for the price of the... More

We stayed here recently as a short break from the madness of work. Unfortunately, we didn't book ahead, and room we wanted, a deluxe executive, was unavailable. We were allocated an executive room, and asked to see it before booking. It was lovely, and obviously recently renovated. The staff here are nice, even if the lady in the restaurant is... More

After a days shopping in Manchester decided to take the 'A' road from Preston onwards, and having seen this place as we have passed by many times before thought we'd give it a go...the car park was very busy, good sign you would think, and when we got inside it was packed, there was a friendly lady on reception who...
