Stayed for 1 night (30 Dec 2011) with friends. Rooms were really nice and incredibly spacious. We dined in the restaurant and the food was superb - but be prepared for large portions. Breakfast superb also. Thouroughly recommended, we will be going back. More

Very disappointing, poor service, food presentation average, would not want to use this restaurant again. I had an issue with a particular dish and although this was discussed it was not resolved and not compensated for. No further comments, I think it speaks for itself More

Stayed one night for a family celebration. This is a recently refurbished country pub with separate rooms at the rear. Everything was very clean and tidy and appointed to a good standard. Staff were friendly and courteous and our breakfast was really very good. The pub is very inviting and although we didn't eat, we'd have liked to if we'd... More

Sunday lunch at the White Horse was a treat. Despite a large birthday party (why didn't they opt for the private function room?), we had a most enjoyable lunch. Attentive staff for whom nothing was too much trouble; a good selection of draught beers, and the usual extensive White Horse menu. Couldn't fault it at all! More

11 of us had Sunday dinner here,we ordered various food including the roast,I didn`t have a starter or pudding as I know that a main meal here is adequate,we weren`t disappointed,up to their usual good standard, waitress asked us regularly if we wanted more drinks instead of us having to ask them. We will continue to return to the Stoke Ash... More

I had to travel to Suffolk with my elderly parents to attend a family funeral. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The rooms were clean, generously sized and well appointed. Plenty of hot water for baths and showers and even a comfy sofa in my room to relax on before dinner. The food was excellent with plenty of choice... More

We came to Suffolk for a wedding and needed a room to change in and a quick meal before going off to the ceremony nearby. The staff could not have been more friendly and helpful, our room was ready in a few minutes. The food could not have been better and was served quickly given our need to be on... More

This was our third stay at this horel. Need I say more? The room was excellent, the staff fantastic and the restaurant had a fabulous choice and was brilliant value for money. We would (and will be) visiting again as there is so much to do in the local area. More
