Arrived here at 10.30pm after a long drive and was pleasantly surprised. Its not an expensive hotel so wasn't expecting a lot but it is very comfortable. Rooms are on the small side but adequate. The staff were very nice and helpful. We only used this hotel as a stop off on the way to Holland but we would definitely... More

We were on our way through France as we drove to Italy and booked Le Cottage using LateRooms on the same day. It's a cosy place and not too difficult to find. The ground floor room was convenient, cosy and what we needed. A nice big bed (though a little short for anyone over 6') and a shower room. The... More

Booked Bed and Breakfast from a B & B advert for 45 Euros. Turns out 45 Euros is for the terribly uncomfortable bed in a tiny room with shoebox bathroom. It advertised dinner on a Saturday but surprise, surprise the chef was ill. They told us there were lots of restaurants 500 metres away, tried to walk and eventually drove... More

My wife and I stayed here for 1 night while travelling through France. The bedroom was very small compared to other hotels. The bathroom was very tired and in need of refurbishing. The breakfast was very basic continental. The staff were relatively friendly. Reasonably priced for what you get.

My father and I stayed here while in the area visiting World War I memorials and we both loved the hotel. The staff was extremely friendly and we felt genuinely cared for. The hotel is an excellent value for the money. We will definitely stay here again and will recommend it to family and friends.

Stayed here again after a gap of 5 years. Another good decision. Using a web agency for a good deal it gives super value for money. Has a quiet mature ambience, polite attentive staff, good value restaurant bistro style . 3 courses from a good specials board plus a coffee for 22 euro. Simple but plentiful breakfast. 7 euro.

Stayed here for five nights with a group of 29, occupying 19 of the 20 rooms. Had to cancel 20th room at short notice, but this was not a problem. The restaurant was opened specially for us on Easter Monday, and a 'formule' provided each evening as requested. The hotel was very clean, the food good and the value for... More

Not only is the Cottage Hotel a great place to stay after you have crossed the Channel from the UK but to our surprise it is also a great place to eat. We stayed there for 3 nights and dinned in twice, with a serve yourself buffet for starters and also for deserts the quality of food was very good... More

Clean, tidy hotel OK if you are passing through or not spending too much time in the hotel and travelling around .Good parking and within reasonable travelling distance of historical sites such as The Somme ,Ypres etc.The hotel restaurant is not open all days of the week so you have to make use of the chain type eating places a mile... This was a perfectly OK hotel with good service. The breakfast at 7 euro was very generous. We ate our dinner there and the 22 euro set menu was good value and good food. This was lucky as Bruay la Buissiere is a bit of a dump and finding somewhere else to eat could be a struggle. So in summary... More
