great location in the center of Imatra - near the russian border. Amazing view. Like it came from a fairytale. I'm sure that at the summer time it's much more beutiful, so I guess we'll be back) Food and service were great as well. One huuuuuge disadvantage - no free wifi. !

I´ve been here a couple of times, mostly just eating in the restaurant. The atmosphere and rooms in the castle-side are nice. Staff is very kind. Value for money in restaurant is ok. So sad there is no nightclub or drink bar late at night.

Stayed in room overlooking the rapids when the water is released from the dam. It was an awesome view. Hotel could use updating but not reduce the historic value. Really liked the history of the hotel. Slept with the door open on the balcony and slept very well.
