Haukeliseter is located directly off of E134, which makes it easy to get to. We stayed in one of the suites, which was large for European standards. While staying at this hotel you are within minutes of many
good long and short hikes around the lake.

You'll find many charming characteristics at Haukeliseter in the rooms and the lodge. The clean rooms feel like cabins with unfinished
wood furniture and the lodge is a cozy place to relax and view the mountains from the large windows. You can find snow here during the summer, but don't worry, it's not cold! Also, don't forget to look up as you leave the lodge. You'll see the goat who grazes on the grass which covers the roof of the lodge.
