We have just returned from Kjornes and thought about writing the review whilst it's still fresh in the mind. We are a married couple in our forties who travel as much as we can afford to.
Initially found the website to Kjornes as an offshoot of sognefjord.no and all the other info on the website was accurate and relevant to that region.
First came the build up and we contacted Kjornes direct to check availability. Fortunately one of the log cabins we were interested in was available so we booked online with the proforma provided from the site owner Eli. She was very helpful from the start and this continued throughout our stay.
Upon our arrival late at night ( 11.40pm ) Eli sorted us out with some extra towels and bedlinen with a cheerful disposition that many owners might not have mustered that late on in the evening. ( It was a long drive for us from Bergen, it took nearly 5 hours as the speed limits are quite low, mainy 45 mph ).
