Have stayed at the hotel twice. Fagernes is a convenient place to stop on your way through the valley of Valdres on your way to Bergen. The hotel has a great facade - especially when it is winter and the snow is making it cosy . Public areas are nice with beautiful furniture and are very spacious including two bars... more

Small rooms that are very warm (temperature outside was < 18 degrees centrigrade). Town is noisy overnight with 'boy-racers' revving engines and drag-racing until about 3am.
