Stayed for 2 nights when my wife competed in Great North Run. All staff very friendly and helpful. Room clean and roomy. Enjoyed both breakfast and evening meal in restaurant next door. Did not find noise from road a hinderance to sleep. Value for money ok. more

Stayed for a couple of nights. The advice about the noisy nearby road is true - I definitely couldn't leave the window open on a warm night. The room was clean, comfortable, had a decent bathroom, and was spacious. The staff were very friendly and helpful given the constraints of a Premier Inn. The Old Orleans pub/restaurant next door had... more

Came up to Sunderland for the Take That concert. Staff at the hotel were amazing, knew all about transport to the Stadium, and tips from guests who had been to the show the night before. Room was big, bed was so comfy slept through breakfast!! (blackout curtains helped aswell) Take That were brilliant and the staff at the hotel made... more

The staff really made this visit. I was unhappy with my room as I had been put next to the staircase, and as a single female traveller I prefer to be further down the coridoor. I mentioned this to the receptionist when I arrived, and she could not have been more helpful. I was immediately switched rooms. The room was... more

We stayed here for 2 nights at the weekend. The purpose of our stay was just as a quiet, comfy place to sleep as we were out all day. The staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. The man on duty overnight was particularly helpful. The room was large and very clean with an enormous bed, and a... more

The room was fresh tidy & clean and all seemed well. However, we soon realised the proximaty of the nearby dual carriageway and the constant... more

Have stayed at this Premier Inn several times when visiting family, (wish they did Loyalty Cards!!) and have always been really happy with our stay. Staff are great and very helpful, hotel is quiet and well looked after, and it's in a good spot for shopping or accessing pretty much anything in the city. Would be fantastic if they did... more

This Premier Inn is located out of the city centre just a short taxi ride from the station. The staff were helpful and pleasant and my room was the usual high standard that one expects from Premier Inn. A large room, sparkling bathroom and enormous bed were very welcoming! The Old Orleans restaurant was located right next door and the... more
