From the minute I made contact with the hotel to book the venue to leaving the hotel after my 50th Birthday Party celebrations I could not fault the high quality of service received. Nothing was too much trouble!! Staff were always very helpful, professional and attentive. more

Stayed at a few Marriotts over the years and this was definitely not one of their better establishments. Room ok, bed very comfortable as is all Marriott beds. Bathroom awful, why weren't these upgraded along with the room?? Very unhygienic having the (tiny) sink outside........ Yuck! Got stuck in lift which made a very suspicious noise the whole night long... more

OK hotel, but with excellent chef! Shopping in the neighborhood. Not far from Hertford where more dining options can be found. more

Arrived and a few other guests checking in too, took a little time, but booking found and off we went to our room. We booked a 'Romance Package' so we had a junior suite, very nice, plenty of room and a very comfortable bed. Bath room a little small, but did the job, we even had a balcony over looking... more

Errors made by booking clerk which meant we had to fork out extra for breakfast which was sub-standard. Very disappointed with overall quality of hotel (especially the rooms) which were quite grubby. more

stayed in the Marriott Cheshunt overnight 20th June, 2009. Firstly. noticed that one of the pillows was foul-smelling; secondly, found an electric light partly detached from the wall fitting, with bare wires; thirdly, had to put up with the churlish rudeness of shabir, who purported to be the 'front office day manager'...sad!!! ...this 'gentleman' tried to fleece me for £20... more

For a four star establishment this hotel is severely lacking. Whilst the staff are generally friendly and willing, there's a lack of consistency when it comes to actually making things happen. I reached the hotel at 11.30pm was late for and i was tired, the check in was quick as the staff took very little time to get me settled, after quick shower, the bathroom was nicely decorated with wall paintings, the bar was still open and i had a quick snack of fried fish, fries, sandwich and beer. i loved... more
