The rooms were clean and recently refurbished. The staff were friendly enough and the breakfast was fine. So in that respect - all good. However it looks like a tarted-up travel lodge with fake beams and horse brasses. There's even a wishing well outside the front door. It's englishness by numbers. In other words, naff. more
