Booked this hotel for a one night stopover following a wedding in East Kilbride. When I phoned to book the receptionist said the rate was £70 per night - I said I would pay £50 for a double room and she had no hesitation in agreeing that price - I should have known why - the place is a hovel.... more

I thought the Bruce was fine. The general decoration was a bit sad. The bar area gets very smokey very quickly. My room was quite small and the tv seemed not to work intially but this was sorted out very fast.I did have problems with noise, from outside the hotel and some noisey drunk people in the corridor at night.... more
