Our room was fantastic, the reception staff were faultless and everything about this hotel on first appearance is excellent. Couldn't complain about anything here except the standard of organisation in the restaurant. The staff were actually pretty helpfull in the restaurant and always corteous. The problem was that the food was vry slow to come out, and we were left... more

We booked throgh Classic britain which was by far the cheapest out of any hotel booking site (£92 DBB for 2 people per night) we actually stayed for 3 nights in total. The hotel has been extensively modernised throughout the restaurtant, bar area and rooms are of excellent luxury standard. I would say the only down side is that the... more

We duly turned up . It took 30 minutes to be served drinks. The starter arrived after 10:00pm. Soup was cold --sent it back. Main course was really good. Sweet... more

We drove to this hotel after we walked out of the Cromlix House Hotel after being shown to an attic /terrible room and bing told there was no other choice. We were welcomed and shown several rooms that were available and we settled on a lovely room with a desk and nice sitting area. The staff couldn't have been more... more

Having grown up in Stirlingshire, my sister chose Dunblane Hydro as the venue for her wedding reception and visited there regularly to discuss arrangements over the summer months when the building was being rejuvenated (on the assurance that everything would be complete for her Big Day on 3rd October 2009). In the interim, I was reading the many reviews here... more

We enjoyed a two night stay here in September with a large group of friends. The hotel has recently undergone major refurbishment which is not quite finished yet. Our room was on the ground floor in the new block and it was very comfortable, quite spacious and spotlessly clean with a comfortable bed, flat screen tv and all the usual... more

On arrival our room was not ready & did not become available until 4.35p.m. Work had been carried out in the corridor leading to our room and the debries remained on carpet overnight. Meal in Bistro was OK(just.) Breakfast was inedible. Bacon and sausages looked as if they had been boiled rather than grilled or fried. I went into Bridge... more
