Stayed there with my wife July 14 & 15 room was clean and well appointed but the king size bed was rock hard and uncomfortable. The room always smelled of tobacco smoke. All of the hotel staff were pleasant and helpful. The breakfast was buffet style and the food plentiful & nice. Dinner was an experience to be forgotten as... more

I'd booked a family holiday for my wife and I, 4 children (12, 9, 2 &1) and my elderly & infirm parents. Rooms were fine, with interconncecting doors to the kids' room. My parents had an accessible room - only complaint was the ensuite bathroom was a wetroom so the floor became slipperly for my mother who uses 2 sticks.... more

Arrived on the Friday at 4pm ish and got a nice reception, we downed bags in an average room that had a spacious clean bathroom. Went across to the Triangle health suite for a swim, this is a private concern that the hydro guests have use of, was stunned to be told that there was a 2 in 2 out... more

We had a 2 night DBB stay at this hotel on Friday 27th and Saturday 28th June. The Hotel is in a truly stunning location and looks fabulous on arrival. We booked an executive room and it was clean and tidy as you would expect. We were really disappointed by the food in the restaurant, this was by no means... more

We booked a 3 day break at the Dunblane Hydro commencing on 24 Jun. Like others we arrived a bit early. Although others at reception were being allocated rooms, we had to wait until 4pm before being allowed to book in. This, because our room was still being cleaned. Incidentally, they had us down for two rooms booked, but both... more

Have just returned from a one night stay at the Dunblane Hydro. I booked it really last minute and I think I paid over the odds for the room but all in all we had a good time. The room was excellent and the King bed was huge. We stayed in the Stirling Wing which although has been updated in... more

£99 two night stay in a tired room but a beautiful view. The weather was miserable and the hotel was cold all except the dining -room. Everywhere else very cold no pleasure sitting-reading paper ect in the lounge. The hotel should be heated according to the weather not the time of year. The coffee shop was extortionate for a small... more

Have just returned from a weekend stay and had an excellent time. Everything was very clean and staff very friendly. Our rooms in the refurbished part of the hotel were spacious and comfortable I would certainly go back. Meals were also excellent. Book early if you want to use treatment facilities as we tried three beforehand and they were fully... more

Having recently returned from this hotel I just had to write about the most enjoyable stay my husband and I had here. We had a room in the Stirling wing which was really nice and very clean and big enough to contain a 7 foot wide bed. Breakfast was excellent with great variety to choose from. We found the staff... more

I'm just glad I booked a three night stay at this hotel prior to looking at the reviews on here. Had I came on here first I'm pretty sure I wouldn't have booked, which would have been a pity as my girlfriend and I enjoyed a lovely stay at the hotel. The setting is beautiful and the weather was great... more
