I use Premier Inns a lot for business. You always know exactly what you are getting, and you know by and large the rooms are always maintained and refurbished to a high standard. This Premier Inn was only 6 months old, and it showed. It was spotlessly clean, very efficient, with a modern bathroom, flat screen TV, and a stylish beefeater just 10 yards away. The receptionist on duty this evening was very friendly, the bed was comfortable with four pillows, and everything worked. The lighting in the bedroom has a calming shade of blue, and I think for £60 a night, plus £7.50 for an enormous (if you want it) breakfast, you cannot go wrong. I dunno what was outside the hotel as I just drove in and drove out next morning, all I neede was there. If you have a Premier Inn close to where you want to be, use it, and save up to £100 on a **** gaffe with a £17.95 breakfast. more
