We are a Norwegian family of 6, 2 adults and 4 kids, who stayed in one of the apartments during July/August 2008. The location of the Kolding Byferie is great, by the lake Slottsö, an just a few hundred meters away from downtown Kolding with great shopping. Legoland is just 38 kilometers away (about 24 miles), and it's just 87 km (about 54 miles) to Scandinavian Park, Flensburg, Germany, where you can make great bargains on especially alcoholic beverages and food products, compared to Scandinavia.

The apartment itself was ok (K223), with 3 bedrooms (2 rooms with bunk beds) and a fully equipped kitchen. Nice furnitures! There's free Internet-connection in each room, but you need a cord to connect to the modem, which you can get in the reception for free during your stay (you better bring your own, since the one given to you is pretty short...).

On the negative side, the fridge wasn't much bigger than the ones you find in most hotelrooms (we were 6 people!), and it is... more
