First of all this is not Scandic hotel. Hotel arcitecture is very intresting and nice. There is not any kind of A/C or fan in the rooms. Nice view from the balcony to the lake. Hotel need some renovation... Because the hotel is near Ähtäri animalpark there is mostly families with parasites, so, not so romantic getaway...

The hotel itself is interesting with rocky walls. Rooms are average, but the restaurant is excellent. The service is always first class, waitress are extremely friendly, great with kids and food is very good. Swimming pool is ok, kids just love it.

We chose this hotel because it's right next to the zoo. This is in fact the only good thing about the hotel. The rooms were awful, I don't think they've ever been renovated.
