Very impressed with public areas , spacious and confortable. Beautiful gardens and pool. Rooms large and comfortable. Just a bit out of the centre in a good residential area. Hotel restuarant very expensive, did not use it. Breakfast was awful. Scrambled eggs tasted synthetic and bacon was barely cooked and we had to pay 12 euro. It was not worth... more

Dreadful, dreadful, dreadful. When we arrived to check in we were ignored for 20 mins whilst receptionists talked amongst themselves - a Spanish couple pushed in front of us and they were dealt with first - no apologies were made. Then they couldn't find our booking on their handwritten sheets and refused to look up their computer to check, we... more

We viewed the reviews prior to travelling and with this hotel it said the only down side was that it was a good 25 - 30 min walk into town. This did not worry us as we like walking. HOWEVER, we never imagined it to be so hot and with no shade on the roads. Walking was NOT an option.... more

Ideal position in very quiet area within walking distance to most attractions and shops. Room with the largest most comfortable bed that we have ever experianced out of all the hotels we have stayed in. The buffet breakfast more than fills you for the day. more

Stayed here for a break with my wife and to take in the MotGP. Very expensive that weekend but room rates much better after that. Pool area enclosed and really nice - not busy at all. Bar good but shuts pretty early. Breakfast not worth it (use the bar opposite) and restaurant not up to much - better food nearby... more

We stayed for a week in October 2008 and, if we visit Jerez again we would probably stay at the Guadalete. As has already been said it's a little far from the centre of town to be really convenient but if you don't mind a 20-30 minute stroll then it's fine ( and there are two good reataurants- the Gaitan... more

Nothing really special about this hotel. The pool area, as other reviews have said, is quite nice. But it's nothing spectacular. And, at least during our visit in September, was generally too cold and shaded to enjoy (despite the hot air temperature). Even the jacuzzi was cold. Plus, the pool area closed at 8pm, so it wasn't somewhere we could... more

Our expectations weren't high when we booked rooms at £48 for the first weekend in August. Stacks of good stuff to report - Just a short walk to see the famous horses and only 4 euros for a cab into the heart of town. Eay to find and park. Helpful staff (although few on the ground). Fabulous pool area a... more
