The Olympic Palace, in mine and my partners opinion, is NOT a 4* hotel as advertised. We have just literally returned from our 1 week trip to Ixia, Rhodes and the Olypic Palace and I honestly cannot explain how happy I am to be away from the place. Ixia, and the Olympic Palace are both as awful as each other.... more

We stayed in Room 206 which was on the first floor above the pool , a very nice modernised room with flat screen television (only really BBC World in English) It was the end of the season and places round about were beginning to close down – the hotel went from buffet main course to set menu with limited alternate... more

Just came back from a 5 day trip with my husband and 2 other couples. We had an amazing trip, but it definitely wasn't because of this hotel! We stayed in mountain view rooms, and they were pretty horrible. The room had 3 single beds (2 of which were pushed together) and the were pretty uncomfortable--reminded me of the cots... more

Myself and a friend who are our 50's and our two daughters who are 24 arrived early in the afternoon. Having checked in very quickly we made our way to our rooms on the 5th floor, we had paid extra for a room with a sea view, (This was recommended by someone on here) on opening the door, we were... more

We did not book this hotel, it was thrust upon us, at VERY short notice, ie, the night before we were due to leave, by the travel agegents,Thomas Cook. Therefore we only had time for a very brief Google search. The pictures looked fab, Just what we wanted. Indeed the room we were given matched the photo as did the... more

We arrived at the hotel with a group, and only one person at the front desk received us. You can imagine how long we had to wait until receiving the key for the room. We asked for a room with a shower instead of bath, and we got a tiny room with a tiny shower. We asked to change to... more

We've stayed in Greece a number of times but this time we thought we'd stay somewhere a bit more upmarket. Olympic Palace had some very good reviews so we went for it. So glad we did. We couldn't find one fault with the hotel. The staff are incredibly friendly and efficient, especially the restaurant and cleaning staff. The food was... more

We enjoyed our holiday at the Olympic Palace in Ixia. The hotel itself was wonderful, the town itself not so however I'll come on to that later! The hotel is large but not too noisy. It is also really clean. The swimming pool area is lovely and wasn't too crowded with plenty of sunbeds and in a very pretty setting.... more
