Excellent hotel, very good food breakfast and evening - pool area and common areas all immaculate. Room air conditioning quiet and effective. Use public transport from here very cheap and reliable - arrange your own trips to Symi etc at the harbour - 1/4 the price. Forget Lindos - totally a tourist trap. Initially, after reading some negative reviews, we were hesitant to book our stay at the Ixia Grand but after staying there for 2 weeks we thoroughly recommend it. I am actually writing this review as I sit in the lobby of the Ixian Grand Hotel in Ixia just down the road from Rhodes town thanks to the free wi-fi they provide in the lobby (which can sometimes be accessed in bedrooms but don't let them know). So far, and considering the weather, this is a really nice hotel.... more
