Just stayed at pine trees read all reviews before we went and I would agree with all the best ones the hotel was great the staff great, saw a lot of george and heard a lot of mary. the hotel was a base from which we traveled daily we walked 10 or so miles a day walked into rhodes town... more

We stayed at Pine trees a few weeks ago and were a little disappointed. If you only want to lounge by the pool all day and go to a restaurant at night then this is the place for you! We found the bar expensive compared to the supermarket which is only a 5-10 min walk, with the food being sub-standard.... more

I can only add to all who have said what a fab place PTrees is! Mary & George were absolutely great, the hotel peaceful, nestling at the bottom of a rock. Yes, the walk to the shops is a bit tricky and the return hard work on a hot day but the pool and a cool drink all the more... more

we have just returned from visiting Mary and George, we visited last year as well. Everything as we remembered, we had great fun and as the hotel is so small everyone gets to know each other which is really nice. Make sure to do the BBQ night as the food and the company are brilliant. We met some wonderful people... more

George and Mary cannot be faulted as the hosts of this small but very friendly hotel. Marys infectious laugh is a joy to behold ! On the downside is the very dangerous road leading to the bars and restaurants, a torch is a must for this journey and an ice box will save you a small fortune over the fortnight/week.... more

Arrived late nearly 1am, George and Mary there to greet us, room basic but very clean, shower works fine if the sun is up, desperately tried to avoid air con (49 euro/week) but too hot.
