My husband and I stayed at Castel Pietraio for 4 or 5 nights during our honeymoon back in May. Pros: 1. What a lovely place to celebrate my birthday. The staff were very friendly and accomodating. The wine was AMAZING thanks to Gabrielle who suggested the Chianti. We just returned from Castel Pietraio and give it very high marks. The property itself looks even better than the pictures on the web site. This castel exceeded our expectations on every level. We rented three of the rooms in the castle, all were beautiful and clean. La Torre has a gorgeous view over San Gimignano, spectacular!
